Based on Cohick’s Philippians in The Story of God Bible Commentary series, lessons tackle the historical distance between the New Testament and contemporary culture. Cohick offers a clear and compelling introduction to the entire book of Philippians, guiding learners in creatively and faithfully living out its message in today’s context. Using a story-centric approach, this course is ideal for formal and informal students alike, for anyone who wants to better understand Philippians today.

Overall, the Philippians course views Scripture as God’s Story, with each text examined in its canonical and historical setting, in order to foster discernment in living God’s Story faithfully and creatively with and for the church in the twenty-first century.
