Course Description

The Introduction to Christianity and Science course offers a thorough introduction to the intersection between science and Christian belief.

How does Christian theology relate to scientific inquiry? What are the competing philosophies of science, and do they “work” with a Christian faith based on the Bible?

No course has covered this terrain sufficiently—until now.

This course is taught by four well-known scholars: Paul Copan, Tremper Longman III, Christopher L. Reese, and Michael G. Strauss. It also includes materials from dozens of additional contributors, who bring their expertise to bear on specific topics.

In this course, you’ll explore the toughest questions about faith and science, from Adam and Eve, to the age of the earth, miracles, and evolution. You’ll even learn about concepts such as string theory and multiverse. By the end, you will have a thorough grasp of the relevant concepts, theories, terms, movements, individuals, and debates.
